Web cartoonists to help Gulf of Mexico clean-up efforts

Web cartoonists from all around the world have answered Carly Monardo’s call for art donations that will be auctioned off on Ebay. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to The Colbert Nation Gulf Of America Fund, managed by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.

The first auctions went live last July 5, with new five or more artists being added each day. Organizers have said that the response from the cartoonists community has been “extremely positive and fans seem enthusiastic to bid on their favorite creators’ work.”
