Rising Star Games Wants to See You Bring Their Fighters to Life!

Thursday 29th September 2011: In celebration of new game THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII, cosplayers have the opportunity to let their vision run wild at the forthcoming MCM Expo London Comic Con, which runs from 28th to 30th October at ExCeL London.

Go head-to-head with other King of Fighters cosplayers on Saturday 29th October on the ‘Totally Cosplay’ stage and show the judges how you bring the characters from the game to life for your chance to be dubbed the King of Fighters. You will need a combination of costume and attitude to win. Show the pride and nobility of Elisabeth Blanctorche or the dark hearted ambition of Ash Crimson, or whomever you want to bring to life from the extensive King of Fighters cast.

Representatives from Rising Star Games and Totally Cosplay will judge the competition. Their decision is FINAL and will be based on an assessment of costume accuracy and how accurately the character’s nature is portrayed. Costumes may be made, customised, or bought.

Anime Network Simulcasts Persona 4: The Animation

HOUSTON, TX – September 29, 2011 – Broadcast and digital distributor Anime Network announced today that they will begin simulcasting the anime adaptation of the bestselling role-playing game Persona 4 The Animation. From AIC A.S.T.A. (Bamboo Blade, Blood+), and renowned director Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Kamisama Dolls), comes a story of a group of students, their ability to harness the powers of supernatural Shadows, and the grisly murders that connect their two worlds together. The voice cast from the original game have reprised their roles for the series.

Starting on Thursday, October 6th, the series will stream every week for free on Anime Network Online at 3 PM Eastern, the same day that it airs on TV in Japan. Sentai Filmworks Licenses Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere

HOUSTON, September 28, 2011— Sentai Filmworks announces the acquisition of the upcoming anime mega-series HORIZON IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, based upon best-selling author Minoru Kawakami’s ongoing, eight-book franchise that has already sold over 750,000 copies in Japan. AniMinneapolis 2012 Coming to Ramada Mall of America

Bloomington, MN – September 27, 2011 – AniMinneapolis is excited to announce that the 2012 AniMinneapolis anime convention will be held June 29 – July 1, 2012 at the Ramada Mall of America in Bloomington, Minneapolis. After its triumphant first year, with over 1200 unique attendees, AniMinneapolis is excited about moving to Bloomington, where many other fan conventions in Minneapolis are held.
